Today we did the short hike to Tamanawas Falls, which is a really nice fall hike. It was a chilly 34 degrees at the trailhead at 9:30 when we arrived. The Forest Service has installed a new bathroom here:

This spot at the creek crossing is so pretty, I photograph it every time!
There was some very nice fall color:
We saw some mushrooms:

People like to scramble over the rocks around the falls but today they were covered in ice:
On the way back we passed many many people hiking in. When we got back to the trailhead at noon there were 43 cars in the lot, more than I have ever seen there!
