Aldrich Mountain is southeast of the little town of Dayville. The drive up Road 21, Road 2150, and Road 523 were smooth sailing, easily doable by any vehicle. We drove\u00a0through several areas of burned forest, some of which was from the 2006 Shake Table Complex fire, and some of which was from 66,000-acre <a href=\"http:\/\/inciweb.nwcg.gov\/incident\/4042\/\">South Fork Complex<\/a> fire in 2014.<\/p>\n<p>The lookout wasn&#8217;t staffed yet when we visited.
