The first part of the hike was over same ground we covered on our <a href=\"http:\/\/cherylhill.net\/blog\/2021\/07\/08\/strawberry-and-little-strawberry-lakes\/\">hike to Strawberry Lake<\/a> two days prior. It was very narrow in many spots with a lot of exposure. After several hours of relaxing we packed up and got ready to head out, but not before visiting Little Slide Lake, which is a two minute walk from the main lake:<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/51311113896_bcab5e0219_c.jpg\" alt=\"Little Slide Lake\" width=\"800\" height=\"533\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Bog lily:<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/51311311773_fd68aee71d_c.jpg\" alt=\"Slide Lake Hike\" width=\"800\" height=\"533\" \/><\/p>\n<p>We returned to Slide Lake and finished looping around it&#8217;s shore on the east side.
