Cheryl Hill is a native of the Portland area and is a lifelong history buff. She is the author of Mount Hood National Forest and Fire Lookouts of Oregon. She works as a librarian and fills her free time with reading, hiking, backpacking, camping, and photography. She lives in the Portland area with her husband and two cats.
