Perhaps the lookout on duty had run to town for supplies:<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/53123078700_a64ef5e0f5_b.jpg\" alt=\"Pig Iron Hike\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/53122905109_e9d7c5eb0f_b.jpg\" alt=\"Pig Iron Hike\" width=\"1024\" height=\"684\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The lookout sits at the end of Watson Ridge, a little bit west of the actual summit of Pig Iron Mountain.
