We headed to Lookout Mountain in the Badger Creek Wilderness. We stopped at this pull-out on Highway 35 to admire the view:<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/51651982731_b39ecd9359_c.jpg\" alt=\"Mt. WHY? Isn&#8217;t one enough?<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/51644379957_071f5582e1_c.jpg\" alt=\"Lookout Mountain hike\" width=\"800\" height=\"533\" \/><\/p>\n<p>From the viewpoint we could see Badger Lake:<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/51645283181_40ab7e5bca_c.jpg\" alt=\"Lookout Mountain hike\" width=\"800\" height=\"533\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Clouds blocked our view of Mt. Hood for much of the time we sat here huddled in the cold:<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/51644379507_2371fe83c5_c.jpg\" alt=\"Lookout Mountain hike\" width=\"800\" height=\"600\" \/><\/p>\n<p>But the clouds parted a few times, fortunately:<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/51650345089_17b734dfa9_c.jpg\" alt=\"Lookout Mountain Hike\" width=\"800\" height=\"534\" \/><\/p>\n<p>On the way back we took a faint side trail to check out Senecal Spring, which was frozen:<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/51649911383_bec4b8dd8c_c.jpg\" alt=\"Lookout Mountain Hike\" width=\"800\" height=\"600\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Before heading back to the car we stopped at the super windy summit of Lookout Mountain where we had a partial view of Mt. St. Helens, Mt. Rainier, and Mt.
