Hood. I parked at the Bennett Pass Sno-Park where I got a gorgeous view of Mt. Hood on this beautiful sunny day.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/farm5.staticflickr.com\/4521\/27185557229_1f8f981523_z.jpg\" alt=\"Mt. Hood\" width=\"640\" height=\"425\" \/><\/p>\n<p>I started down Bennett Pass Road (also known as Road 3550).<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/farm5.staticflickr.com\/4690\/27185548099_60db9d805f_z.jpg\" alt=\"Snowshoeing\" width=\"640\" height=\"425\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/farm5.staticflickr.com\/4515\/25091397598_e10c1b3d5c_z.jpg\" alt=\"Snowshoeing\" width=\"640\" height=\"425\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Saw some really cool hoarfrost:<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/farm5.staticflickr.com\/4601\/38076840475_cd335833d3_z.jpg\" alt=\"Hoar frost\" width=\"640\" height=\"425\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/farm5.staticflickr.com\/4680\/38076880965_e589eb415c_z.jpg\" alt=\"Hoar frost\" width=\"640\" height=\"425\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/farm5.staticflickr.com\/4690\/24178885787_d8477b8e6f_z.jpg\" alt=\"Hoar frost\" width=\"640\" height=\"425\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/farm5.staticflickr.com\/4555\/38158895475_0ee7d94df1_z.jpg\" alt=\"Hoar frost\" width=\"640\" height=\"425\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/farm5.staticflickr.com\/4730\/38177908785_3a4a56a4cf_z.jpg\" alt=\"Hoar frost\" width=\"640\" height=\"425\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/farm5.staticflickr.com\/4738\/24236912577_c6dd7f1616_z.jpg\" alt=\"Snowshoeing\" width=\"425\" height=\"640\" \/><\/p>\n<p>There really wasn&#8217;t much snow on the ground and I saw plenty of bare patches:<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/farm5.staticflickr.com\/4641\/27320569399_56a0b37268_z.jpg\" alt=\"Snowshoeing\" width=\"640\" height=\"425\" \/><\/p>\n<p>I decided to do some exploring, so at the one-mile mark when I reached a junction I turned right and went another 0.9mi to the end of Road 222.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/farm5.staticflickr.com\/4732\/25231594128_174c7f7f4d_z.jpg\" alt=\"Snowshoeing\" width=\"640\" height=\"425\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Not a whole lot to see on this road, except two spots with glimpses of Mt. Hood through the trees:<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/farm5.staticflickr.com\/4636\/39067054992_b82bc81d72_z.jpg\" alt=\"Snowshoeing\" width=\"640\" height=\"425\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/farm5.staticflickr.com\/4728\/38215905055_ea051b2082_z.jpg\" alt=\"Snowshoeing\" width=\"640\" height=\"425\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Then I explored down Road 220. No views along this spur and it dead-ends after 0.8mi.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/farm5.staticflickr.com\/4596\/38215900145_8211e4dbe6_z.jpg\" alt=\"Snowshoeing\" width=\"640\" height=\"425\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Back on Bennett Pass Road I continued on.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/farm5.staticflickr.com\/4596\/38215897525_a91d4e64b9_z.jpg\" alt=\"Snowshoeing\" width=\"640\" height=\"425\" \/><\/p>\n<p>1.25 miles from the sno-park there is a spur to the left which I did not explore, although I think there is a view to be had there. Staying on Bennett Pass Road 1.8 miles from the sno-park will get you this magnificent view:<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/farm5.staticflickr.com\/4691\/39087698742_6d53cf5604_z.jpg\" alt=\"Snowshoeing\" width=\"640\" height=\"425\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/farm5.staticflickr.com\/4635\/39087695392_4c5a36ae02_z.jpg\" alt=\"Snowshoeing\" width=\"640\" height=\"425\" \/><\/p>\n<p>After enjoying the view for awhile I headed back to the car. Before driving home I got this parting view of Mt.
