The road goes right past it, and there was a nice pullout where we could get out and see the lake reflecting Pyramid Mountain in one direction, and a range of mountains in the other direction.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/c5.staticflickr.com\/9\/8483\/29033459196_a6bb6fa878_c.jpg\" alt=\"Patricia Lake\" width=\"800\" height=\"531\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/c7.staticflickr.com\/9\/8018\/29267030822_842dd480f1_c.jpg\" alt=\"Patricia Lake\" width=\"800\" height=\"531\" \/><\/p>\n<p>A little ways down the road is Pyramid Lake, which is equally as beautiful, and has the bonus of a lovely little island with a footbridge leading to it. We were fortunate to be here early before the crowds arrived. It&#8217;s a very popular stop with the tour buses, and indeed one arrived with a huge load of people right as we were leaving.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/c4.staticflickr.com\/9\/8195\/29375074315_19bdfd3633_c.jpg\" alt=\"Pyramid Lake\" width=\"800\" height=\"531\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/c2.staticflickr.com\/9\/8356\/29375206785_214a35937b_c.jpg\" alt=\"Pyramid Lake\" width=\"800\" height=\"531\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/c6.staticflickr.com\/9\/8615\/29296399261_848202819a_c.jpg\" alt=\"Pyramid Lake\" width=\"800\" height=\"531\" \/><\/p>\n<p>We drove out to Miette Hot Springs, which also serves as the trailhead for Sulphur Skyline. We started hiking and started gaining significant elevation.\u00a0Finally we got high enough that we had some views. We could see down the valley towards Miette Hot Springs, the little white blob down there in the trees.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/c5.staticflickr.com\/9\/8355\/28801968620_8f1dc5c686_c.jpg\" alt=\"Sulphur Skyline Hike\" width=\"800\" height=\"531\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Not even to the summit yet and we feel like we&#8217;re on top of the world.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/c1.staticflickr.com\/9\/8403\/28801966800_da048ca097_c.jpg\" alt=\"Sulphur Skyline Hike\" width=\"800\" height=\"531\" \/><\/p>\n<p>After a steep final push to the summit we were surrounded by stunning 360-degree views. Our beautiful clear morning had turned into a cloudy and windy afternoon, but the views were still stunning. The weather had turned quite cool and cloudy, with even a threat of rain, so the hot soak felt GREAT.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/c1.staticflickr.com\/9\/8023\/28571560864_5956101c03_c.jpg\" alt=\"Miette Hot Springs\" width=\"800\" height=\"600\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The setting is pretty awesome too.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.travelalberta.com\/au\/listings\/2036\/\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/az837918.vo.msecnd.net\/publishedimages\/Listings\/2036\/en-AU\/images\/1\/miette-hot-springs-L-8.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/a><br \/>\n<em>travelalberta.com<\/em><\/p>\n<p>From the top of Sulphur Skyline we had been able to see a &#8220;fin&#8221; of rock to the north called Ashlar Ridge.
