It was a gorgeous sunny day out there and we were even treated to a view of Mt. Hood!<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/farm2.staticflickr.com\/1703\/25392342993_53b05f002b_z.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>We headed over to the Coyote Wall area after that and hiked a loop that wound its way up the east side, crossed over, and came down the west side. I haven&#8217;t been there in a few years and there has been some major trail re-routing on the east side. It&#8217;s nice, though. There are creeks and meadows and oak trees, and the wildflowers are well underway. We were treated to more views of Mt. Hood.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/farm2.staticflickr.com\/1661\/25311546274_9cdc254a8b_z.jpg\" alt=\"Coyote Wall\" width=\"640\" height=\"425\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Between the two hikes we did more than nine miles today. Whew! I haven&#8217;t hiked that many miles in one day since last summer!<\/p>\n<p>Here are Greg&#8217;s wildflower reports for <a href=\"http:\/\/oregonwildflowers.org\/viewreport.php?ID=771\">Catherine Creek<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/oregonwildflowers.org\/viewreport.php?ID=769\">Coyote Wall<\/a>.
